One Killed in Upper Lake Highway 20 Pedestrian vs. Auto Accident Near Robinson Rancheria Casino
Upper Lake, California (February 17, 2017) – A pedestrian died early Friday morning following an auto versus pedestrian accident on Highway 20 near Robinson Rancheria Casino.
The California Highway Patrol, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, and Northshore Fire Protection District firefighters responded to the crash around 12.12 a.m.
According to the report, the pedestrian was hit by a pickup truck identified as Toyota Tundra and was found lying on the eastbound side of the highway.
Responding officers confirmed that the pedestrian was killed in the crash.
The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
Authorities continue to investigate the matter to determine the cause.
