Deputy Injured in Victorville Multi-Vehicle Accident at Amethyst and Palmdale Roads

Victorville, California (February 16, 2017) – Three vehicles collided Tuesday night on Palmdale Road in Victorville leaving a deputy injured, according to a local news source.

The incident took place at around 9.01 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Amethyst and Palmdale Roads intersection.

As per the article, a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department deputy was northbound on Amethyst Road, and as he crossed the intersection, a westbound car, driven by Barbara Stewart, 60, of Adelanto, ran a stop sign and slammed into the deputy’ car.

The impact of the crash made the marked unit spin and hit a third vehicle stopped at the intersection. The driver of the third vehicle was identified as James Boross, 54, of Victorville.

The deputy was transported to a hospital with minor injuries and released later. His name was not disclosed.

Stewart and Boross declined medical attention.
